2019 world’s 500 most valuable brand, 77 Chinese companies in list

According to Brand Finance’s 2019 global 500 report, American brands worth $3.1242 trillion, accounting 45.4% of the total value of global 500. Chinese brands worth $1.3074 trillion, accounting for 19% of the top 500 total, second only to America. Japan ranked third with 6.1%, Germany fourth (5.8%), France fifth (4.5%), and the UK sixth (3.3%). Brands from other countries and regions accounted for 15.8%.

The top 10 brands in 2019 are amazon, apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung, AT&T, Facebook, Industrial and commercial bank of China, Verizon and China construction bank.

Brand Finance has also released its 2019 list of the world’s 100 most valuable technology brands, China has 22 technology brands on the list. The highest ranked company was huawei, in seventh place, with a brand value of $62.278 billion. Other brands are: (8) WeChat, (9) Tencent QQ, (12) Taobao, (12) Tmall, (21)Baidu, (25) Alibaba, (27) Midea, (29) Netease, (32) JD, (36) TSMC, (42) HIKVISION, (48) Youku, (49) Gree, (59) Xiaomi, (60) Lenovo, (69) Ctrip, (73) iQIYI, (83) Weibo, (91) ZTE and (93) JDI.
