In 2020, the total number of students in higher education of all kinds in China reached 41.83 million.
There were 3.14million postgraduate students in China. Among them, there are 467,000 Doctoral students and 2.673 million Master students.

There were 32.853 million undergraduate and junior college students, and 7.773 million adult undergraduate and junior college students.
